Hey this book is really a bible of Computaional heat transfer and dynamics, the approach by Suhash Patankar is really lucid and his coverage of topic is beyond excellence. He may be called father of morden Computational heat transfer as othere authers have derived a lot from his books and are based on his literature only.

A good introductory book, noted for the conceptual description of the physics behind each problem.

*****   A very helpful intro-book for FVM

This is the text-book for one of computational classes and it is really helpful. The basic FVM methology was explained clearly in the text and you won't find it too overwhelming or too much mathematics in this book. A good start for FVM.
