The Beach Safety Specialist should have a degree in a related field with 8+
years specific experience in formulating strategic plans for public beach
safety and development and performing of related operational plans. The
successful applicant will be required to establish public educational schemes,
establish a classification of public beaches, suggest and implement
international standards for beach amenities, signage and flags, setup of life
guarding capacity, recommend beach safety equipment, develop and promote plans
for various water sports and to be involved in designing the monitoring and
modeling schemes relevant to beach safety issues. Fluent English (written and
spoken) is essential and Arabic speakers will be viewed favorably.
