Description:

Increasing energy efficiency, reducing environmental impact, enabling fuel flexibility and improving system reliability are the common design goals of the chemical industries and of combustion systems in process (glass, steel, cement, metallurgy, petroleum refining, industrial gases).*

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and reaction kinetic simulations of combustion processes offers a methodical approach in designing such systems by lowering the cost of iterating between trials and prototypes. Furthermore, recent advances in CAD maneuverability and optimization algorithms have further strengthened scientific design space exploration.

In this webinar, you will learn the various ways to use CFD simulation to improve and optimize combustion system designs via validation and case studies. A technical specialist will use state-of-the-art simulation software to demonstrate the ease of use and set-up of optimization/design space exploration of a combustion simulation.

A review of current model capabilities and future plans will also be presented.

This webinar is free, but registration is required to obtain log-in information. Visit our event page for further details.
