The annual Lecture Series in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) brings in-depth presentations on well-established methods and recent advances in the field of algorithm development for numerical flow simulation. This year's edition will focus on algorithms for the solution and optimization of problems in computational aeroelasticity. Among the topics that will be covered are reduced order models, integrated fluid-structural dynamic models, methods for multidisciplinary optimization (MDO) and discretization techniques for unsteady flow in domains with moving boundaries. Applications will cover design and construction of aircraft, turbomachinery and wind turbines.
