Simerics Announces Partnership with FLUIDON at IFK 2008 in Dresden

With a shared booth at IFK in Dresden this year, it will soon be obvious to all that FLUIDON and Simerics have minted a partnership that will prove beneficial to both companies and the customers they serve. Simerics is fortunate to be able to leverage the extensive resources and reputation of FLUIDON, based in Germany to expand its growing presence and support base in Europe.

FLUIDON has developed DSHplus for the dynamic calculation of complex systems. Simerics offers the 3D design tool PumpLinx, developed for the simulation and design of fluid pumps, motors and other fluid devices with sliding and/or rotating components. Together, FLUIDON and Simerics can offer complementary simulation tools covering both system and component design for automotive and hydraulic systems.

Simerics headquartered in the US, is a 3D design software development company whose mission is to equip the design engineer with robust 3D numerical solutions that will rapidly accelerate design process productivity. Simerics’ flagship product PumpLinx is used to create virtual 3D test beds that funnel creativity into optimizing product performance.

PumpLinx was developed to address the great challenges in axial, centrifugal, mixed flow and most positive displacement pumps, motors and related devices.
