Date:Mon, 19 Feb 2007, 10:50 a.m.

ANSYS Inc., organizer of the first ‘International Aerospace CFD Conference’ (IACC), has issued a final call for papers. This prestigious event will be one of the largest forums worldwide for the aerospace and defense CFD community offering a rare opportunity to share knowledge and network with other practitioners within the industry. Every presenter is entitled to free registration for the event.

The IACC has already received submissions/abstracts for papers from some of the world’s leading edge aerospace engineering companies. However, there is still time to submit an abstract before the deadline this week on 23rd February. A broad range of papers is required and abstracts are welcome from any organization or company using ANSYS/Fluent software.

The IACC offers the unique chance for you not only to make a contribution but to learn about the very latest in the application of CFD and related CAE technologies to the aerospace and defense industry. Papers are welcome on a wide range of related topic areas including:

- Aerodynamics - Icing - Ballistics - Multidisciplinary Design - Air Wakes - IR Signatures - Core Component Thermal Management - Propulsion Systems - Electronics Cooling - Safety/Hazard Assessment - Environmental Control - Seakeeping and Maneuvering - Fire Suppression - Homeland Security - Flow-Induced Noise and Aeroacoustics - Sloshing - Hydraulics Fluid Management Systems - Store Separation

Once abstracts have been received authors will be informed of whether their paper has been chosen no later than mid March. Final copies of chosen papers must be provided by 1st May. All papers must be written and presented in English.

For information on submitting papers, please visit www.fluent.com/events/iacc or www.iacc.ansys.com, and click on Announcement and Call for Papers on the right hand side of the window, or contact Vincent Canu at: vincent.canu@ansys.com
