Applied CCM Pty Ltd and Applied CCM Canada have announced partnership agreements with Celeritas Simulation Technologies LLC for worldwide sales and support of the Suggar++ overset grid assembly software.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Applied CCM Pty Ltd and Applied CCM Canada.” said Ralph Noack, owner and director of Celeritas Simulation Technology LLC. “They have many years of experience and considerable expertise in CFD development, combined with a reputation for strong customer support. We are looking forward to working with them to help our customers enable overset grid technology in their processes."

Celeritas Simulation Technology LLC is the developer of the best-in-class overset grid assembly software (OGA), Suggar++. Suggar++ is unique in its wide range of capabilities to support most all flow solvers and grid topologies. Suggar++ can be run as a pre-processor for static configurations or linked into the flow solver as a library to perform the overset Domain Connectivity Information (DCI) computations at each step of a time-dependent configuration. Suggar++ runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac. More information about Suggar++ is available on its web site, www.celeritassimtech.com.>

“The partnership with Celeritas Simulation Technology is a continuation of our strategy to provide state-of-the-art software for computational fluid dynamics (CFD)," said Dr. Darrin Stephens, Applied CCM Pty Ltd principal director. "By adding Suggar++ to our software portfolio, we are able to offer customers a very strong CFD process from geometry to results without compromising quality. Suggar++ is one of the best overset grid assembly solutions for any customer that really cares about mesh quality and accuracy of the results."

“We see a growing demand in the CFD market for the overset approach so Applied CCM Canada is excited to be partnering with Celeritas Simulation Technology,” said Dr. Chris Sideroff, principal director. “We did extensive market research and determined Suggar++ was the best overset OGA software available. We liked the fact that Suggar++ has been the predominant OGA software for the last 20 years.” Dr. Sideroff said.

Applied CCM Pty Ltd was founded in 2011 to support new and current users in the field of computational continuum mechanics by providing development, training and support and expanding the use of OpenFOAM®-based technologies in the academic and industrial communities. Applied CCM Canada, a partner with Applied CCM Pty. in Australia, was founded last year in Ottawa, Canada.
