Hi, Currently I am using CFX for solving laminar incompressible Navier-Stokes equation in a multiphase flow (Air/Water).

Bad meshes are generated around the water inlet to the solid disc.
Mesh quality is bad in that the ratio of bad meshes is over 0.2 right now according to determinant 2 by 2 by 2.

How can I enhance the quality for getting rid of these vectors around the inlet

This is ICEM meshing I believe. We can help you if you can attach .tin file. I am sure that this is the issue of topology.

Thanks for your help in advance.

After you rename it to water.tin then it's a tetin file due to the upload limitation?

Best regards

Here is the blocking strategy for your geometry. Check in the attached files that how I did create new curves and points to control the blocking.

Thank you very much,

Currently, CFX solver is running very well.
I am trying to replicate what you did like

The injection hole should be projected to the output wall and make it splited by O-grid.

I watched Youtube videos that you linked and it's fantastically helpful to me.
Best regards

Sincerely
msormania
