ICEM Hexa Meshing Automation
 

Hello everyone,
I have a good grip with ICEM CFD hexa meshing.Can anyone guide me how to create the ICEM hexa meshing automation for simeple geometries.
Modelling tool used :ProE or UG NX6
User Interface :Microsoft excel (VBA)

Logic is user can give the inputs(Both modelling as well as meshing) at the spreadsheet .The background VBA applications run both the moodelling tool and the ICEm in batch mode to update the geometry.

So if I get your idea you just want to generate the mesh automatically for simple geometries that you receive.

If you can regroup your geometries into similar groups (like Airfoils, heat exchangers, etc) then you can create separate replay files for each group. Simon did
a great tutorial using replay option in ICEM.

After depending on the "class" of the geometry you receive you can run the replay file for that particular group.
