mjaisit is on a distinguished road
I am fairly new to Ansys, so this should be a simply answer. I am trying to model 2 rectangular regions in 2-D that are touching side by side. The plan is to fill one region with a material and the other with a separate material. I attached a simple paint drawing of what I am trying to create. When I try to create 2 surfaces from sketches i get the error saying that intersecting profiles are not allowed for 3D features. If anyone could give me a brief explanation of how to do it, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

draw all the lines you have there. then go to "create surface from edges" do it twice, for the surface on your left and on your right
big-bang likes this.
