Blocking of a 2D Cmesh around an airfoil

3 Attachment(s)
Hello
if you follow Simon's tutorial for generating a Cmesh, you will have blocks like the first attached image (3 blocks)
but I want to have something like the mesh in image2 and 3, i.e., I wanna have a single block in the front of the airfoil.
can anyone help me with it?

You need to create 2 or 3 blocks (C O-grid), not one as in image1.

But O-grid has five blocks !!!!

To achieve what you want , i think you should not split your initial block at all..
1. Create 2d planar block. associate it to the sides.
2. Split the block vertically by selecting either the upper or lower side of your flow field..
3. May be you can continue by splitting the second block alone further into two halves by selecting the vertical outlet of your far field.

Try it..

Not possible
