Hello
I am creating a mesh for an aircraft in ANSYS Meshing for simulation in Fluent. I am simulating only half the aircraft and will apply symmetry condition. I need to incorporate an actuator disk using the fan boundary condition in Fluent to simulate a propeller. This study will only have axial flow through the disk and no tangential flow. Hence, my symmetry condition is explained. How do I create the mesh and the body for the fan? Can I include the complete disk in ANSYS and then use some method to cut it in half with my domain body? Should it be a surface? Or should I boolean subtract it out of the fluid domain? |
