Default How to mesh a circle with rings?

Is it possible to mesh a circle by ring elements, I have attached the figure which I mean.
and also dividing the rings to some elemnts which is not shown in the figure.

create your disk (surface) with max ř
Then split the disk with circles (edges).
Now you are able to mesh annular surfaces
