Periodic mesh

Hi guys,
I'm trying to study the flow filed insiede a centrifugal blower.
I'm meshing the rotating domain with tetra/prism elements by ICEM.
I've meshed just a portion on the entire domain that will be copied around rotatoty axis.
This portion has two periodic walls and the question is the following:
why when I unable the visualization of one of these walls, some "holes" appear on the other one? Is that normal?

First Pic contains periodic wall. The rotation is along Z direction.
Second pic I disabled periodic wall and part of the wall (different colour) continue to stay. It's something like the part of the wall who stay belong to the other periodic wall.

Is that normal? Or something went wrong?

Not normal...

Is it possible that you have two overlapping surfaces in that location and some of the elements are just associating with the wrong one?

Yes, I guess the mistake is the association. Because if I use "Repaire Mesh --> Associate Mesh" automatically I have no problem anymore.

Thanks
