Cthames21 is on a distinguished road
Hello,

If I have developed a fluid tetrahedral mesh surrounding a solid cylinder, is there a way to observe the average number of elements spanning the mesh axially? If so, is it possible to preserve that average number of elements axially, while coarsening the mesh in the radial direction? I understand that the tetrahedral mesh discrete locations will not be as well defined as a grid that's why I am only attempting to obtain average values.

Thank you,

Cameron Thames
