Hi,

I made mesh for a complex geometry by ICEM. After I improve my mesh quality, I save it. Then I open that project and check the mesh quality right afterwards. The mesh quality becomes bad.(By slightly changing it, it will be good again.) May I ask that's why and how to avoid this problem? After I improve the quality, if I export that mesh to CFX, am I exporting the good mesh or the bad one?

Best regards and many thanks,
lnk

hey, I have exactly the same problem. Is someone able to explain me what I've done wrong or if it's a bug?
I produce my block mesh or unstructured, it doesn't matter, then i use the command smooth mesh globally (that works on the unstructured mesh) to gain a good quality, I save the project and close Icem. When i open the saved project and i check the mesh quality I get a really bad histogram worst than the one that I had before smoothing. It doesn't happen with all the project I've done but with most of them. I forgot to say that all the projects are based on the same geometry.

Thank you very much, regards

Sometimes it happens to me....After conversion of premesh to unstructured mesh...Check quality several times
