Hi,

I'm using ansys icem cfd to do my meshing. When I use stl for output, the resultant file has everything correct except for the facet normal.

If the meshing is done by ansys workbench and the mesh imported into icem, all the normal direction is opposite of the correct one.

However, if the meshing is done in icem, some directions are correct, while some are wrong.

How does ansys icem define the outward normal?

Btw, I'm meshing a naca0012 wing with sAR = 2, with the z direction from 0 to 2.

Thanks!
