Meshing a 3D airfoil using ICEM

I need to mesh a 3D airfoil using ICEM. I have created the geometry using ANSYS but I have never used ICEM before.

Could you tell me how I can mesh that using ICEM?

I would appreciate if you could help me.

If you really wants to put your airfoil in ICEM then you need to airfoil coordinate file

Import these coordinate and join them by using spline..
Then make C-grid to do meshing task

this link is showing a thread in which detailed discussion about different blocking typologies is given

this video is tutorial for structured hexa meshing for wing

I hope both these things will help you alot

If you still require more after this I will be happy to help you :)

If you want to create a wing. then just import .dat file of airfoil co-ordinates. it will automatically create curves and similarly import another one and transform it in the z direction then make two lines one joining leading edge point of both while other at trailing edge. and then create surface. after that proceed to blocking.
