internal 2D wall in 3D model?

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I'm trying to simulate a double helical impeller: is it possibile to have 2D internal wall inside a 3D model?Or Do I have to assign a thickness?
I assigned the impeller faces as wall, but these are eliminated into fluent as they are "unreferenced".
See attached picture.

Thank you

Daniele

I think you forgot to split your volume with the helicoidal surface.
Just try to move (not copy) the blue surface with any translation-vector. If you succeed then, the surface doesn't belong to the volume. And this is what gambit (fluent) expects.
So split the volume with the surface
