Wrinkled Mesh

2 Attachment(s)
I am totally stuck with wrong face/edge associations in ICEM. I have tried to disassociate edges and faces from the geometry and reassociate the faces to the part. But whatever
I do, the mesh remains folded and wrinkled. What can I do to resolve this issue?
What tools does ICEM provided to find the wrong associations? I have tried the edges associations and vertex projection type display.

Thank you for the help.

Kind regards,
Ralf

can you attach the required files, so that we can work on them in ICEM

If the edge and vertex associations don't clear it up for me, I usually run some cut planes thru so I can see what is projecting to what on an element by element basis...

Thank you for the hints and the offered help. Sorry, I am not allowed to post the data. But at least I got the job done.
What does the trick? I disassociated the faces in the wrong meshed part and realized that edges was assigned to the wrong (closest, but wrong) surface. To resolve this, I created an additional curve on the correct surface and assigned the edges to the new curve. Afterwards I reassigned the block faces to the closest surface.

sometimes, it's easier to associate faces to desired part instead of associating edge to curve or edge to surface. rmb shows "face projection"
