Fluid-Fluid interface and Perioidic

1 Attachment(s)
Hi All

I'm facing the following situation in my wind turbine project:
in fluid-fluid interface,Fluent refused to accept the periodic B.C

I tried ICEM and Ansys Meshing and found the same results

Again fluid-fluid interface should be two faces of "interface" not single "Interior"face while Periodic B.c of periodic faces doesn't match with interface,Mesh is complete But Fluent refused to complete

Any suggestion
Thanks in advance

could have many reasons. did you check "periodic problems" in icem? have you set up periodicity correct? rmb -> faces -> periodic faces -> do they look red? if not, check periodic verticies

have you tried to copy/rotate your mesh in icem? are there any overlapping elements or is it just fine?

Thanks Christoph for replay :)

First, I didn't found (rmb -> faces -> periodic faces) I think you mean to do this in ICEM Blocking but I'm not using Blocking techniques.

second: the Fluid-Fluid interface if i made it (one) interior face, every thing is good and Fluent accept the mesh and periodic face But if the Fluid-Fluid interface (should be interface: one for internal fluid and one for external fluid) ICEM check Mesh show me error (check this pls http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ans...-geometry.html)

If you want to see my model this is the Link http://www.4shared.com/rar/IierXH9h/Project.html

Thanks in advance
