I have a problem with meshing a complex geometry. My case is a valve with a tilting shutter and I have to calculate equilibrium position of the shutter and also head losses.
So I have to control first layer thickness on both shutter and valve walls.
I created a named selection for shutter and one for walls, but I am not able to insert the inflation option for both.
In the general meshing setting you can only choose between 'program controlled' and 'chosen named selection'. 'program controlled' doesn't make what I want and in 'chosen named selection' you can pick only one selection but I have two.
If I insert an inflation option, it asks me for 'boundary' of the inflation layer so I pick up its edges but it doesn't work. (I'm also not sure what this boundary means).
Have you got an idea about how to solve this problem?
Using "program controlled" should generate inflation on all surfaces that are NOT in a named selection.
By inserting inflations instead, unless it's a swept mesh, the boundary should be chosen as the surfaces that make up the wall and not the edges
