Hello
I am comparing the two topologies for the Ahmed body mesh and want to know your opinion that which topology is better: Topo1 or Topo2 and can you tell me how to create both topologies and why such difference is there even overall idea is the same. Topo1 ![]() ![]() Topo2 ![]()

Would the best topology (for this and any other Hexa mesh) only be determined by:
1) the mesh quality metrics. 2) the accuracy and mesh insensitivity (when the number of nodes are altered on the topology) on the CFD solution. Last edited by siw; October 31, 2012 at 08:10. Reason: Typo |
