Cylinder non-uniform Mesh

2 Attachment(s)
Hi guys, at the moment I'm dealing with meshing for flow over a 2d circular cylinder. Actually in some tutorials I saw that the domain was defined as a circle as well, but I saw in some articles that a rectangular domain was used and the grids around the cylinder was well biased. (shown in the picture)

I want to do the same but I couldn't figure it how!

Is it s.th that should be considered in design modeler or is it a Mesh technique?

pls see the picture and tell me how to mesh like it :)

I am not sure about the AM, but for making the map mesh you need Design modeller first.

But this process is very much simple in ICEM CFD, if you wanna try see this.

Yes, if you want that kind of mesh using Ansys Meshing you first need to split the domain in for example Design Modeler. The splits are exactly the same shape as the blocks would be in ICEM
