Hi everybody,
I am trying to make a simple 2D model and I need 3 independent bodies next to each other. i make 3 different sketches but when I create a "Surface from Sketch" they combine to produce a single body. I need the bodies to be independent!. I tried with "Split Faces" but somehow it doesn't work. Thanks for your help |

Do you actually have three different sketches in the model tree or have you just sketched three shapes in the same sketch?
A screenshot of the situation? |

Always the same question...
After creating the "surface from sketches", you have to freeze the created bodies (extras -> freeze). Now there should be 3 different bodies in the project tree. Select them all, right click and select "form new part" Now you are ready to go. |

My interpretation is that the bodies are supposed to be independent next to each other, ie not touching. But if they are touching, then yes that is the answer.
