error when open a file

hi all
i have a problem with gambit. when i open a file .dbs gambit don't load and show me this message : "unable to read format of database (version 2.4.4). the current format is version 2.3.14. an error occured while opening the specified identifier. check if the database is already in use. instead, opening the default identifier." but i don't have change the version of gambit becouse i have used the same. thank you |

it seems you are trying to open a database, saved from a newer version

HI, Actaully when your computer suddenly closed then there are two options, either a lok file is generated or your dbs file is saved in the lastly created scratch folder. You can find your dbs file in that folder...
