Hi every one,
I am trying to simulate a heat exchanger of a staggered arrangement via CFX, the problem is that I don't know how to determine the thickness of my model. I would be grateful if you can help me. I am attaching an image for my model to clarify the issue. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks so much. |

If you have symmetry boundary conditions on both sides and one cell across the thickness it shouldn't matter for results, but for convergence I think it is convenient to have a much thinner model than what you are showing.
