Hi everyone !
I don't know if I'm posting in the right section of the forum. If I'm wrong tell me. Here is my problem : I have to cut a domain into several faces around a lifting body's airfoil on Gambit. When I try to generate the last face, in the transcript window appears the follwing message : "ACIS error 43000 : Wire has self-intersection". The title of the error is pretty clear so I checked what could be wrong and everything looks great: No problems with lower geometry, vertices and edges linked properly, etc. There must be something I'm missing ! Please help ! |

can you post pictures?
How are you splitting your volume/surface. Normally if you are well splitting you don t need to generate a surface, execpt you want to split a volume. Anyway with pictures it could be clearer
