Problem with geometry (Cannot merge edges together)

Hi all,
I have just finished constructing my model, however there are some problems with the geometry. My model have non-manifold bodies. I have identified some of them. But when i tried to merge the edges/faces together, the modeler said that there is no valid mergable clusters. How can I join the 2 edges together?
