Hi,
I'm trying to create a perforated metal sheet (basically a rectangle with many holes) with the design modeler.
I would like to avoid doing all the holes manually as there will be more than 30.000 of them. I need them to be of a particular size and in particular places. I will just use it as a pressure-outlet, so a plane with holes will perfectly do and I know that I can use 'imprint' to get the holes into the plane. For comfort it woould be nice to have them in one scetch, as well.

Thank You very much for any suggestions on how to solve this problem without spending hours in front of the computer, mindlessly drawing circles.

P.S.:I already tried using the scripting application but didn't find it to be very helpful and don't think it can save a lot of time for me (but maybe I just don't know how to use it properly...)

Use this tool in DM: Create > Pattern (Pattern type: Rectangular).
