Problems with geometry when defining boundary conditions

Hello everyone,

I ran into a strange problem: i created a mesh in icem and made a cfx5 output file, but when i want to define boundary conditions in cfx-pre i cannot select any of the edges or surfaces of my geometry, only the whole body. Anybody knows the solution? Thanks

what kind of mesh? hexa?

domain/insert boundary doesn't work?

Did you create the individual parts in ICEM with the faces you want to select as separate boundaries?
