Hello everybody,
I'm trying to model two parallel ducted fan in Turbo grid in order to analysis in CFX. How could I define geometry in TGrid? Any suggestion is very welcomed, Regards, Bahar |

TGrid != Turbogrid
You can import points into turbogrid. Stu |

Thanks dear Ali and dear Stuart for your attentions
I know about process of creating Geometry and meshing, I just wanna to know about defining B.Cs. Should I use multiple reference frames to model two rotating fan in CFX or what? Regards, Bahar |

Yes you need to define Multiple reference frame to model them. Both are rotating in opposite direction to each other. Now you should decide which type of interface you need: mixing plane, frozen rotor or sliding mesh.... PS: Some one should clarify Tgrid is Tgrid or turbogrid. |

Dear Far,
Thank you in advance for your clear answer! I should excuse all for bad explanation of my issue, I did not know anything about Tgrid and just used this phrase to summarize Turbogrid! Now, I want to define geometry by importing airfoil points in some sections. Regards, Bahar |

@Far:
Tgrid is a Fluent native unstructured tetra + prism volume mesh generator (with other cool features such as shrinkwrap etc.) Turbogrid is a specialised structured grid generator for turbomachinery geometries (e.g. from Bladegen) They are very different programs, and definitely not interchangeable!
