Auto Meshing

I've made several hex meshes around 2D airfoils but now I'd like to experiment with auto meshing and compare some of my hex mesh results to tetra mesh results.

To my understanding auto meshing is for geometries that are too difficult/impossible to make a structured mesh around and also they tend converge slower. But sometimes the effort needed to hex mesh will overcome the slower convergence right?

Anyways my question is how do you make a tetra mesh? I always thought it was really easy but it's probably more difficult than im anticipating. If theres a simple tutorial someone could direct me too that would be great! thanks

Matt,

There are plenty of tutorials that come with ICEM. Just go to the help menu > Tutorial Manual. The first few tutorials are hexa, but there are some tetra and multizone tutorials at the bottom of the list.
