Hello everybody,
i have meshed(tetra) a cylinder with concentric cylinder as rotating zones by : > mesh concentric part [in ICEM] >mesh outer part [in ICEM] >import meshes to fluent (by append the case) [in fluent] > mesh interfaces of the shadow wall [in fluent] >assigned the rotating part as frame motion with rpm of 600 [in fluent] >assigned velocity magnitude of velocity inlet [fluent] > assigned model+solution method [fluent] > RUN [fluent] >1st pic meshes & 2nd pic velocity pathlines Should the vector at velocity inlet start swirling as soon it flows into static domain before it reach the rotating part as in the picture??? by reffering to my previous posthttp://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/flu...-boundary.html and Quote:
