I have single blade at the required location and now I am trying to create other blades (total no of blades are 5-12, as it is parametric study).

For this purpose I am using pattern with circular option and following workshop 5a downloaded from ansys website. For tutorial I am successful in creating the circular pattern for the stirred tank example. Fig 1

But I am not successful in making circular pattern for my case as shown in Fig2. Error message is "Error: Operation would result in illegal T surface bodies
Context: Geometry Engine, while generating Feature Pattern10
"

Any idea is welcome and highly appreciated. I am attaching DM file.

Freeze the body before you make the pattern and it will work

After freeze, DM will not intersect the bodies therefore it will allow?

Ah, again it's due to the bodies being surfaces. Use "Fill" to make a solid, then rotate

jrunsten: I am following your advices and learning DM at good pace.

But i get confused easily in DM while working with surfaces and solids and I always try to correlate it with GAMBIT
