Need help with volume meshing
 

Hi, I'm still a newbie to the ICEM and a new member to this forum and I have a problem with ICEM.

Currently, I'm trying to analyze a supersonic aircraft in cruise condition. Hence, I imported the model from STEP/IGES, enclosed it with a block-shape surface (as the farfield boundary), and meshes the surfaces (unstructured).

I also created a body called FLUID to determine the air in this system using 2-point centroid method (the material point is located outside of the aircraft).

Now, I want to know how do I volume mesh it with delaunay method ?
I mean the important settings since the "help topics" doesn't enlighten things enough for me.

If there's information which I haven't given, just ask for it.

It will help people look at this is you can provide pictures and the mesh files. That way people can have a better idea of whats happening.

I've surface-meshed the entire surfaces, the only thing left is the volume meshing of FLUID part.

when you generate a volume mesh, you get to choose between octree and delaunay... it is up to you to choose there. Does it answer your question ?

Well, I've seen both choices. However can anyone tell me the steps to volume mesh either with octree or delaunay ?

It seems that Delaunay has fewer options to choose from so I think I'll start with it.
