cannot create virtual cell the variation

Hi all! I am imported an IGES(500+ surfaces)) in Design Modeller and made some enclosure around.
I want to putt all my 500+ surfaces in an new topology. i can do it but only in min two new surfaces. i want to pack it in one:)

Error is following:
"Cannot create virtual cell: the variation of the surface normals is too large with respect to the average surface normal of the selected set or your models graphics tesselation is invalid"

Is it possible to set so setting for creating virtual cells?

thanks for your replies!

Hello,
Auto generation cells doesn't garuntee that you will get the desired virtual cells. You can try changing the behavior of Virtual Topology to "High" which makes the virtual merge more aggressive.
If you don't get desired result after this, I suggest you select all the faces and then merge them.

Please let me know if you have any question.
Regards,
Sarang

Hi Sarang, thanks for your reply! I tried to change the behavior to High. But it doesn't help:(
I just select faces from which i want to creat virtual topology and it says "Cannot create virtual cell: the variation of the surface normals is too large with respect to the average surface normal of the selected set or your models graphics tesselation is invalid"

What do you mean with "merge faces"? how can i do it in Meshing?:)

solution for me was, selecting not all faces at one time.
I just began with aftship and then go to the forship and it worked for me.
I made selections with "Box Select", need 3 times to select the whole ship step by step.
:)
