change/increase model size box

Hi all)
Is it possible to change in Ansys DesignModeller the "model size box"?
According to manual:
Quote:

Model Size Box The DesignModeler application's geometry engine has a one cubic kilometer size box limit, centered about the world origin. This means that all geometry must be reside within 500 meters of the world origin. Any geometry created that extends beyond this size box may generate an error. For micrometers, the size box limit is one cubic meter, or 500 millimeters in any direction from the world origin.
i want to make enclosure around a ship with length of 230m. It means i need to change it up to 1.400m. thanks for answering!

It's done in the dialog box where you select the units during import.

thanks jrunsten!
as i understand it is only possible to do at the beginning. It is not possible to change for an existing project in DesignModeller or?

To my knowledge, no. You have to do it in the beginning

DesignModeler...Scaling

How to scale model size in Design Modeler. For example, if I select meter scale my model turns to be one meter long.. If I select inch scale it turns to be 1 inch long.. How can I scale up my model to 6 inches..

Thanks

large model support

before begin drawing the geometry, you should go to tool - options and in the unit section, enable the large model support. be careful: you cant enable this option in the middle of the geometry drawing.

Hope this is useful
