bwiblue is on a distinguished road
Hello everybody,

I use blocking to create a structured mesh in my 2D geometry. My geometry is basically a duct. In a particular area i want to create an unstructed grid. To achieve that I changed the blocktype (Blocking->Edit Block->Convert block type) from mapped to free.
My question is now, how can i define the maximum element size in that particular free block? Is it possible to force ICEM to create rather rectangles than squares in that free block? Is it possible to declare a growing ratio of the quads from the edge?

I thank you in advance for your help.

Greetings
