the mesh on the left hand was generated by blocking and in right part mesh was generated by extrusion of quad dominant surface mesh. I found that the interface between two type of meshes doesn't include any nodes of meshes. when i use tetra mesh instead of extrusion of surface mesh nodes of tetra mesh are located on the interface but nodes of hexa meshes aren't.
how can I place nodes on the interface to merge the?
thanks in advance

under the edit mesh tab, there is an icon for merge nodes, but then again i don't recommend that method. why don't you block everything

thanks for your reply. only nodes of right part of the mesh are located in the interface. I can't merge nodes. I don't block everything because of geometry. the weir in this channel has various curvature radius. if I want to block everything, should I use multiblock?

Not multiblock!!! Simple hexa blocking will do the job. It should not difficult to make the blocking for 2d case.

Yes. It was related to merging. I didn't create body in both side of interface.
