[ICEM] Hybrid 2d NACA0012 mesh

Hi everyone,

I am trying to build a 2d hybrid mesh. In particular I built a structured mesh around a NACA0012 (first picture), using block 2d planar, and converted it to unstructured. Now, setting global mesh parameters with Patch Dependent and Respect line elements (second picture), I compute the unstructured mesh obtaining the result in the last picture.

I am not able to build the unstructured mesh from the structured one.

Do you have ideas to solve this problem?

I have a similar problem, finding a solution would be very useful also for me

Hi mates,
It seems that you should decrease maximum size.
By the way no need of blocking. You can actually make boundary layer with "no. of layers" option in curve meshing. See http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ans...e-meshing.html
