Failed mesh following inflation preview

Hi,
I'm really struggling with ANSYS Meshing in generating a full volume mesh (tets with inflation boundaries). The particular application is an atmospheric boundary layer. For some reason, I can get the inflation mesh to preview, however when I try to generate the full mesh, the inflation fails saying that the problematic geometry is the whole domain. Technical support have suggested that it may be caused by the defeaturing, so I have switched this off, but no improvement. How can it be this difficult to generate a suitable mesh?? I had no problems with ICEM previously, however we no longer have access to that software. I'd appreciate any tips and tricks as this idriving me crazy!! Thanks, Nicki |
