Icepak
Hi to all,
Is there any of you using Icepak ? Sometimes I have the error of " Warning: no mesh exists for xxx block" I do solve it with some strange changes which are not commonly valid. But is there any better solution for this error? Thanks... |
ICepak
plz use non conformal meshing or mesh params
or reduce the element size. Kishore |
Hi buddy,
This particular warning message generally appears in two cases (as far as i have come across): 1. When there are two objects, whose geometries are intersecting with each other, in which case changing the mesh priorities might help. 2. Secondly this error might appear in case of orphan objects(Note: Not every time orphan objects exhibit this phenomenon), which can be eliminated by adjusting the assembly parameters accordingly. So, what i would suggest is, before you start meshing the geometry try to check your model using the Automatic case check tool from "Macros" tab. this will be helpful to some extent. Let me know if my reply is helpful. thanks Pramodh J |
Error of Empty string
I tried automatic check and the model is completely fine, i have used non conformal meshing and my objects are intersecting, sources are intersecting with blocks
the error i am getting is Cant use empty string as operand of "-" and the options on dialogue box is of OK and stack trace   |
[IcePak] The wind flux of fan is lower and lower than the experimental data
Hello predecessors,
Recently I need ANSYS 19R3 version to evaluate the theraml performance of the products. But the incomprehensible thing is, when I set up the 3D model of fan and fan curve, the wind volume flux is lower and lower than the experimental data~! I want to ask is "how do I can fix this phenomenon and let the simulation results approaching the real experimental results ?" Thank you for solving my problem~:) |
