Hello everyone,

I am trying to model a 2D geometry in Design Modeler (please see the attached image). I want to assign inlet in the line situated inside the geometry. But when I import this geometry in meshing tool, it just shows the whole body, I can't see the middle line , so I can't select it for named selection (see attached image). How can I draw such a geometry so that I can select the middle line within the geometry? Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

That is just a line in a sketch and won't be visible in the meshing application. Look into extruding this sketch line with the option to imprint on your 2d face (in DM)

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I couldn't get your answer properly. Could you explain a little bit?

I tried to extrude the line (within the rectangle box) , it shows me yellow tick with "done" message. If I give "yes" to "it is thin/surface" then it shows greem tick. But I couldn't find any imprint option .

Hi, finally I am able to naming edge. Thank you. I checked "through all" in extent type. Is it okay? After naming the all the edge I want, when I try to open fluent, it says me "model information is incompatible with upcoming mesh" and it says that it can't found some zone. Please see the attached image. What can I do to solve this problem? Please help me out.
