why cant import .dwg to ICEM

Why ICEM could not read .dwg files. could any one try it

this dwg is broken. cannot import to ICEM, SW or DM.
Check your export options. |

what did you mean by broken. I just saved the file before exiting AUTOCAD as .dwg. This extention is the defult extention in AUTOCAD. |

broken means not readable for SolidWorks,DesignModeler and ICEM ... but i can view a squared-like looking surface when i view it in a dwg- viewer which is kind of strange. Can´t you just change the extension to .xt or step or iges and import those "official" export types?
