Non-coinciding curve and surface edge
Dear Icem CFD users,
On the attached picture below, you can see a section of the block structured grid. The top layer is supposed to be in accordance with the lower ones. The problem is that edge of the surface (blue line) and the curve to which the edge was associated (red line) do not coincide. Is the only thing to do a geometry repair? If so, how? Because I do not know the strategy. Or am I supposed to use another software other than Icem only for geometry generation? By the way, the right side of the section belongs to a curvature, and the top surface is planar.
This must be a common problem, maybe for the people who do not have the grasp of geometry repair like me, I would really appreciate even if someone gave me the title or the class of this problem, so that I can look for a remedy on this forum.

not sure i understood your problem, if you don'T mind can your share your geometry ?
I have sorted it out, this post helped me a lot though.
I simply changed tri-tolerance from 0.001 to 0.000001 and reblocked the geometry. Some surfaces had to be rebuilt though. I also got an error message about "ORFN" and its "family?" but I wish I had saved it.
Thank you for replying Ghazlani. There is not much to show really. The geometry was just a simplified model to understand the problem in the actual geometry. The picture was captured from a quarter ring with square section.
