Help in Meshing (Tetra or Hexa)

Hello All,

Need some help i am trying to mesh this geometry. And need some help regarding the meshing. Whether to use tetra or hexa......

I have tried tetra with all tri but having problem in fluent. I think there is some problem with my meshing.

Would be thankful for your advise

Thanks

Can you share your geometry file, after looking at your geometry I can suggest you some blocking strategy

I spent some time to block your geometry. It was a bit difficult one but when I was about to give some finishing touches to the blocking, I found some intersecting and unusual surfaces in your geometry which I guess is not the representation of actual scenario. I am attaching some figures of those curves and surfaces, kindly tell me it is some problem in the geometry or does you geometry really look like this.

Thanks

Thanks CFD seeker,

I am sorry for such a late reply as i was busy with my exams and last week became ill. That's why wasn't able to come online.

As for the query, i too had this problem but when i asked my supervisor he said the following intersection and curves may have been formed while exporting from ProE. Can it be solved in ICEM or do i have to redo it?

Thanks once again
