Mesh Smoothing problem

Hi friends. I generate quad mesh around 2D airfoil. I got some problem regarding "Smooth hexahedral Mesh-Orthogonal". After some settings When i click Apply it gives me some error i.e "can't read 'fixGeo': no such variable".
I tried a few times with different settings but this smoothing option is not working. Any one has any idea about this option. why it is showing me this error? Thanks in advance

Similar problem with 2D channel grid

All,

I am facing the same exact issue when I try to smooth a simple 2D periodic channel grid. I am not an icemcfd expert, but here is a brief summary of what I did before encountering this issue:
  • Make necessary points and lines.
  • Defined parts out of the lines: inflow, outflow, top, bottom.
  • Made a block with 2D planar option.
  • Formed the mesh with pre-mesh params.
  • Computed the pre-mesh.
  • Converted the mesh to unstructured (right-click Blocking->Pre-Mesh->Convert to Unstruct Mesh).
  • Went to edit mesh and Smooth Hexahedral Mesh Orthogonal.
  • No matter what options I select, I get the error mentioned above.
Has anybody else encountered this. Does anybody know how to get around this?

Orthogonal mesh smoother is improved in V15. Before v15, I think orthogonal smoother for hexahederal meshes was recommended at all...
