2D Airfoil Design Defective Geometry

Hello guys,

i want to design a 2D domain with an airfoil inside it, in order to mesh it and analyze the flow. I follow the steps described in the tutorial, i apply the boolean subtraction for the surfaces of the far field and the airfoil, but the resulting "hole" doesn't follow the initial curves of the airfoil. It forms a rough geometry, close to the one specified by the curves, but not the exact surface of the airfoil. How can i fix this?

Thanks

You can try reducing the values of topo tolerance and triangulation to at least the the smallest length scale of your geometry.

Hope this is useful.

Regards.
