Hello,
I have prepared the mesh in WorkBench for a heat sink with small fins, only meshing the fluid because I want to check the presurre drop. The gap between fins is 0.3mm, the problem is that when I pass the mesh to FLUENT the program creates automatic contact between the fins and it performance like a cilynder..... Do you know why the program do that? What is the setting that I have to change? I have modeled this kind of problem before in the same way but I had changed something ....but I donīt know. I really would appreciate your help. |

if you meshed in ANSYS meshing, then delete the conatcts (connections above the mesh option ) in mesh, then delete the mesh in one small volume and remesh it ,update the Ansys mesh then read to FLUENT

Thanks! but the problem is that I donīt have any conections in the mesh, when I export the mesh into FLUENT there the program automatically create the "sliding contact interface" or something like that .... I found a solution make only one volume but the quelity of the mesh is poor....
